Okay so I’m reading Fifty Shades of Grey right now. Don’t judge me. I saw the trilogy at the bookstore and someone told me I needed to read it. So I got it. I regretted buying it 20 minutes later when my friend told me it was originally Twilight fan fiction. Which wouldn’t be a problem except that ITS SO OBVIOUS that they are Stephanie Meyer’s characters with an S&M twist. I guess its so popular because people don’t realize this? Or they’ve never read fan fiction before? It doesn’t matter that she’s changed the names, I’m reading it and seeing Edward and Bella, it’s just kind of annoying. Even some of the plot points are the same. I’ve actually read a lot of fan fiction, and there really are better ones out there! Fifty Shades is like purely smut. Some angst, but if you’re looking for some good angst and a better story, let me introduce you to Wide Awake. SO GOOD. Okay I’m done.
